I love the idea of having some bling on my bouquet.

Cakes

Here are some cake designs I like. I know the colors are all over the place, but there are some common themes. I like the idea of having a ribbon on the base of each tier and in addition having either flowers, polka dots or a design. I also like the shine on some of the cakes. One thing I’m sure of is that I DO NOT want Buttercream frosting. I had it at a recent wedding and it’s not my thing. I prefer good old sugar frosting.

I love roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. Unfortunately, I’m planning on getting married in August, so I’ve heard peonies are out. Tonight

I’m excited for tonight! It’s a friend’s bachelorette party and I always love being able to go out with my friends. Last weekend was another friend’s bachelorette party and it got VERY crazy. A little two crazy. I’m hoping tonight is a little more tame, but still fun. Next weekend Ross and I have TWO weddings to attend. One on Friday night for his friend and one on Saturday for my friend. I”m sure it will be tons of fun and maybe I’ll be able to get ideas for my wedding. Now I just have to decide what to wear…
